This is a FREE event, open to the public and best suited for parents and caregivers of children 12 and under.
Caregiver Connections Café
Building stronger families, one connection at a time.
Join us for a fun, welcoming, LEGO-themed Caregiver Connections Café, where parents and caregivers of all kinds can come together to connect, share, and grow. Just like building with LEGO bricks, strong families are created piece by piece, through support, meaningful conversations, and community.
What is a Caregiver Café?
A Caregiver (or Parent) Café is a supportive, small-group experience where caregivers can openly talk, reflect, and learn from one another in a relaxed, judgment-free space. Guided conversations focus on building resilience, strengthening relationships, and connecting families to helpful resources, all while fostering a sense of belonging.
Who should attend?
This event is open to all caregivers: parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, foster parents, and anyone raising or caring for children. If you’re looking for connection, support, and a chance to recharge, this space is for you.
What to expect:
🧩 Interactive LEGO-inspired activities centered on each week’s theme
💬 Meaningful, guided conversations with other caregivers
🤝 Opportunities to build lasting connections and community
🍽️ Free light meal for both adults and children
🎟️ Raffles & giveaways at each session
🧸 Free, high-quality childcare with enriching activities for kids

By registering for and/or participating in this event*, I, the undersigned parent/guardian, acknowledge and agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in this event involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, or other loss. I voluntarily assume all such risks, whether foreseeable or not, that may arise from participation in the event.
Parental Responsibility
I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for the supervision, care, and conduct of my child(ren) during the event. I agree that I will remain with and supervise my child(ren) at all times.
Release and Hold Harmless
I, on behalf of myself and my child(ren), hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Lorain with Littles, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, partners, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in this event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Photo/Media Release
I grant permission for Lorain with Littles to use photographs, video recordings, or other media of myself and/or my child(ren) taken during the event for promotional, educational, or informational purposes, without compensation. I may revoke this consent in writing prior to the event if I choose.
Acknowledgment
I have read and fully understand this waiver and release of liability. By registering for this event, I acknowledge that I voluntarily agree to its terms and conditions.
